No worries if biking is not your thing, you could still do your bit to mark Earth Day (22 April) by helping to buy a bottle of toning mist from Kiehl’s who have created a Limited Edition Collection to support the Rainforest Alliance.
Their Açaí Damage-Protecting Toning Mist Collection has 4 different product labels, three of these labels have each been designed by a celebrity - actress Julianne Moore, artist Jeff Koons, musician Pharrell Williams. The last label has been designed by the children of the Nazarezinho Community that harvests the açaí berries used in their formulations. The goal - to raise USD200,000 worldwide through 100% of net sales of this range.
If you are a customer, then bring back your empties - full-sized Kiehl's bottles and receive complimentary Kiehl's products as a token of appreciation in this activity that they call, their ECO-LOYALTY PROGRAM where if you recycle, you get rewarded.
If seeing is believing then check out Kiehl's and The Plastiki Expedition, an Epic Journey Across the Ocean in a Boat Made of Recycled Plastic Bottles, 12,500 bottles to be exact that provide 68% of the boat's bouyancy. Setting sail on 20 March from Sausalito, CA, under San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge, this journey ends in Sydney Australia with a mission to deliver a global message to beat waste.
