Bet you’ve heard by now that Hilton Singapore’s Habour Grill, a fine old foodie institution, is going to bow out to make way for Iggy’s. Now, I like Iggy’s, but I do like Harbour Grill too. It seems a real shame that this old dame is finally closing its doors when it’s still serving up great food and superb, out of this world service in the form of their asst restaurant manager, Deepak Anakathil.

So we are giving you way long advance notice to make a date at the Harbour Grill while you still can. Over a painfully short period from 3-8 May, they are hosting a guest chef, one-michelin star Chef Laurent Peugeot (yes dear, that's the dishy young man below...) known for his boldly creative French cuisine with Japanese influence.
His restaurant Le Charlemagne in Pernand-Vergelesses, Burgundy, has been earning rave reviews with its artistic meals like Duck foie gras candy and smoked eel and Tataki of Wagyu beef, and from the looks of the pretty food pictures, I will definitely book for dins! Plus, from my past experiences at Harbour Grill over the yeras, the guest chefs they bring in never disappoint. What’s more, Chef Laurent will be holding a Culinary Masterclass on Saturday 8 May at 10am. Must not miss, ya!
