While we’re still on the topic of all thing Thai, here’s a beautiful a new resort that’s just opened for business this month in Phuket, my flavour of the moment! And it all sounds tempting to Madam! (I do apologise for the rather uninspiring headline though. Just woke up on Saturday morning, and no caffeine fix yet!)
See the nice pictures? The new Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa is in Mai Khao beach in the northern part of the island, which offers “a boutique experience with distinctive luxury”. I read that as no crowds, no queues to the breakfast buffet line and no horrid behaviour by other guests, such as adult women jumping into the pool fully clothed! Pristine service and pampering all the way, please.
Paste yourself here for a few days and relax on the 17km of sandy beach, see the coral reefs (bring water shoes!), snorkel at the Sirinath Marine National Park next door, and spa til you drop at Quan Spa, their award winning sanctuary.
What’s more, it’s got a kid’s club, so you can bring your tots and have them entertained while you do your own thing.
