Get ready for some sophisticated, ultra-sexy and super luxe-looking candles (oops, they are trademarked ‘Chandels’) from American designer DayNa Decker, who makes her debut in Singapore at Flaming Queen, Palais Renaissance.
Who is DayNa Decker? The ex-beauty queen and Ford model, currently based in New York, has launched a range of modern, sexy and luxurious ‘home ambiance’ products that integrate modern innovation and trendy design with an environmental conscience. So, if you are into saving the earth, you can bask in the fact that her yummy products are also eco-friendly.
Her four collections -- Botanika, Flora, Classic and Couture – look good and smell gorgeous, and range in price from S$69 for a 3oz Botanika candle to S$285 for the Couture Diffuser set. Think seduction.
Judy Millar, the owner of Flaming Queen, highly recommends the brand’s EcoWood Wick™, an innovative new element in candle making, which creates a 'crackling fireplace' effect when the candle is lit.
The wick is made of organic wood, using a natural manufacturing process, and the wax used in each ‘chandel’ is made from a special custom clear resin blend.
