Buys - Ready, Get Set….Lust!

Christmas comes early for ladies who wait, and if you think you’ve been a good girl this year, hot foot down to Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza on Friday, 9 October with credit cards loaded and licensed to kill. For the Singapore Jewel Fest 2009 beckons! Over the next 10 days, all that glisters is definitely gold, and diamonds, rubies, sapphires….You name it, they’ll bling it!

Held in the custom-built Jewel Pavilion, the first half of the fest, which brandishes the painfully saccharine title ‘Love of Romance’ – showcases wedding jewelry: engagement rings, wedding bands and other bridal bling.

Like most of you, though, Madam’s been there, done that and bought the T-shirt. Not interested. Lovey-dovey young romance and the walk up the aisle is great, but these days, I am more interested in walking up the aisle of the Jewelfest with the hubby’s credit card all ready to say “I do…..!”

That’s why I have my eyes set on is second half of the glitter parade. “Love in All Its Glory” (14-18 Oct) presents all sorts of luscious candy that celebrates every joyful aspect of being a woman – a mother, sister, daughter, and friend. How Simply Fabulicious!

Expect to see pieces that embody the spirit motherhood, gifts for sisters, even keepsakes for your little girl, and even rare gems and one-of-a-kind pieces. From classic jewels, extravagant rocks to whimsical pieces, you’ll find plenty of reasons to feast your eyes and treat yourself.

Jewellers represented include Faberge, Mouawad, European couture designer brands like Baraka, Bibigi, Giovanni Ferraris, Yvel, Laurentia; and Asian houses like Baerjewels and Dilys’ from Hong Kong, Pooja and Queen’s, as well as the popular local brands like Tianpo, Goldheart, etc.

From the $100 million worth of jewelry ready to bedazzle our luscious lives, SimplyFab’s snuck in an online preview just for you!!

Menagerie” by March Jewels – So cute! Blinged out forest friends in fine diamonds and semiprecious stones, encircled by rose gold, yellow gold or white gold. If only all pop-up books were like this! Don’t you just lurve these??
