I guess Chinese bunnies would be just as cute as blonde ones. The next time you check into the Sands at Macao (sister hotel to Singapore's MBS property) you may want to take a sneak peak into the Playboy Club that will soon open there in mid November this year!
The Club will be housed in a 12,000 sq ft penthouse club in the Sands that incorporates high-end gaming and an opulent lounge overlooking the Macao skyline. Featuring luxurious Playboy inspired décor and artwork, high-tech media rooms, private gaming areas, live entertainment and a unique VIP arrival experience, all these will be specially tailored for Asian consumers. A 30,000sqft Playboy Mansion in Macao in the first quarter of 2012 will follow the opening of the Playboy Club Macao.
Where is the Club getting their bunnies? From the local gaming grounds of course. We hear that hunting season opens on Friday 15 October as Playboy Club Macao begins their hunt for potential Playboy Club Bunnies at the Sands. Job description: to host Playboy Club members and high rollers who play at the Casino.
If you are wondering who shows up at these auditions? Watch bunnie wanna-bes strut their stuff (oops I mean, wag their tails) at the Sands Macao Hotel, 6th floor from 10:00pm until 11:30pm. Bunny hopefuls have the chance to strut their stuff on the catwalk, pose for paparazzi and chat with media, invited guests and the judging panel, comprising of Playboy representatives, experienced Playboy Club Bunnies and local Macao celebrities. Those girls that the judges deem have what it takes to join the privileged Bunny ranks will be invited back and further considered for a future position as a Playboy Club Bunny.
Unless I missed it, I did not see an age limit in the bunny prospectus so if you are 40 and feeling fabuliciously frisky, you can still hop on the next plane or ferry over this Friday and don a sexy satin corset, Bunny ears, collar, cuffs and cottontail and embark on a new career as a global icon of beauty, charm and fun.
To achieve the coveted position of Playboy Club Bunny, applicants must undertake a strict audition and training process before officially becoming a Playboy brand ambassador. Playboy maintains high standards of etiquette, behaviour and dress code, right down to each Bunny’s manicures, make-up and mannerisms. “A Playboy Bunny should always carry herself gracefully, be camera ready and provide smiling and stylised service,” says guest judge Reggie Martin. “Playboy Bunnies are recognized as truly polished professionals and representatives of one of the world’s most well-known brands.”
