It was hard enough for me to get used to Silkair, Tiger, Jet Star, Value Air and Air Asia in Singapore .. when I moved to Hong Kong, there were some other names to remember like Dragon Air, Jet Airways and now another one. Have you heard of Finnair? Me neither!
I keep picturing an airplane piloted by Mr Claus and his 8 reindeers. I am not completely off as this carrier from Finland has 12 direct flights to Hong Kong per week via Helsinki. This is apparently the shortest route between Asia and Europe. Look out for direct flight from Helsinki to Singapore starting in May 2011. See: Finnair Group website: www.finnairgroup.com
